Alex woke up this morning to a surprise of monumental proportions (to a 3-year-old anyway)!
He got his very own Power Wheel ATV! In no time he was zooming all over our 5 acres! I even had to go track him down to say goodbye to him when I left for work!
Nate even got a chance to ride it before he had to get on the bus to go to school!
After work Alex had acrobatics class and then we had to rush off to pick Nate up from latch key at school, so by the time we got home daylight was fleeting. But that didn't stop my little rogue rider!
Alex requested a special birthday dinner of hot dogs and macaroni and cheese (you can tell he's three!) and then we opened presents from Grandma and Grandpa!
It's a tradition in my family that on my siblings' birthdays we would get one present to open while they opened theirs. My Mom has carried this tradition forward and will bring the boys a present to open while their brother is opening their birthday gifts.
Then we got to sing "Happy Birthday!" and Alex ate one of the yummy monkey cupcakes from his party.
Happy birthday, Boo! Your celebration will continue some more tomorrow when you get to celebrate yet again with your nursery school friends!
