As much as I have complained about where we live, I really love the
home we’ve made here. When I look past the neighbors fighting, the disrespectful kids who curse as they walk by and throw garbage in your yard, the break-ins, the noise, the filth, etc, there really is a lot about this place that I’m going to miss.
Just like the lyrics from Trace Adkins’ song say:
“You're gonna miss this
You're gonna want this back
You're gonna wish these days
hadn't gone by so fast
These are some good times
So take a good look around
You may not know it now
But you're gonna miss this”
I started making a list of all the things around here I really like and would miss the most. I quickly realized that with explanations and the stories I would want to share with them, it would be one
L-O-N-G post so I thought I’d start a feature here to highlight some of these things I will miss…Stay tuned for a series of “You’re Gonna Miss This…” posts to help me remember the great things about having lived here for 6+ years.

Gosh...I'm choked up. I think this hits hard about childhood and the things you miss about your own and that of your little ones...even though they're still fully in the middle of theirs. Change is hard...growing up is hard...watching your lovies grow up is hard. But it's all pretty damned rewarding at the same time. And I suppose that the story of life...building memories to share and moments to cherish. Glad you're cherishing the moments you have had on Avery...there are tons!! And after that you can do a segment on things you're looking forward to, too!! IWN!
